Pakistani fighter pilot Air commodore Muhammad Mahmood Alam

The Pakistani fighter pilot Air commodore Muhammad Mahmood Alam, popularly known as “M.M. Alam”, the legendary Top Gun of PAF is hospitalized in critical condition in Karachi. He is most famous for his dog fight during the Indo Pakistan War of 1965, when he downed 5 Indian aircraft in less than a minute, the 1st 4 within 30 sec, thus establishing a world record. A new chapter was added not only to the history of the PAF, but also to that of military aviation. He is not only the war hero but world Record holder, Pride of Pakistan and of Air Force. An inspiration for all fighter pilots not only from Pakistan but from all around the world. He has been awarded by the Sitara-e-Jurat (“The star of courage”). The M.M. Alam Road, Lahore has been named after him.

Sir M.M Alam, deserve all the praise and respect which very few Pakistanis deserve. He is a symbol of courage and bravery for entire nation. May Allah give him health and May our youth learn from his life. Ameen!
